Golf
Take advantage of our golf courses during your stay.
East Lothian is truly the Mecca of the golfing world, with some twenty courses all within easy reach (20 minutes maximum) of North Berwick – which itself boasts two magnificent courses.
The coastline from Musselburgh in the west to Dunbar in the east has become know as the Edinburgh Golf Coast. And when you play golf in East Lothian not only do you play wonderful courses, but you are also playing golf in one of the most historic – in golfing terms – areas in the world. Play Musselburgh Old Course and you play on the oldest piece of ground where golf has been played continuously. Play the North Berwick Golf Club’s west links course and you are playing golf at the 13th oldest golf club in the world. And play Muirfield and you play a course that has been graced by the greatest golfers of all time.
