Booked this last minute but was pleasantly surprised. Very large room with lovely decor and usual tea and coffee etc. We ate in the bistro downstairs for dinner and breakfast. Both meals delicious and staff friendly and helpful.Small problem with hot water but this was communicated well and compensation given. Would defiantly recommend this hotel.

We have just been for a meal, and the homemade steak pie was delicious, meat perfect, for deserts the panacotta was just delicious. The service was excellent and attentive, it has a lovely ambience, small but cosy.

We had a group of eight golfers take 8 of the 12 rooms at No 12 Hotel during our stay in North Berwick for a week. This was a fantastic find. The rooms were large and comfortable. (Water pressure in the showers was great!) The staff and their service provided was terrific throughout. They were there to help with any needs. I was in charge of the group of 8 and the hotel staff was great to work with on every item. Breakfast was provided and was excellent. All cooked to order. Location was fantastic. We tried several different restaurants during the week and none were further than 30 yards from our hotel. It was nice being in town where you could walk around and see different shops, parks, or the waterfront. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I will go back and definitely want to stay at No 12 again!

I stayed here for two nights after a business trip in mid May, mainly to see Bass Rock and the Isle of May. I enjoyed the ideal location, close to the harbour, the beach, several cafés and restaurants, and numerous little shops, and the friendly and familiar atmosphere. The staff was extremely helpful in getting a jacket back to me that I left behind in town. I definitely recommend staying here and already look forward to coming back one day, hopefully with the whole family then.

The hotel has been completely refurbished and the rooms are gorgeous. Great central location no parking though. Modern warm decor, has all the wee touches on the room and facilities you would require, only criticism is the shower cubicle needs a slip mat. Was immaculate one of the cleanest rooms I have stayed in. Staff were professional and attentive. Breakfast was delicious. Was very impressed for the money would highly recommend.

No12 is located directly at the end of the High St and only 5 mins walk to the harbour & beaches. The free public parking located behind the hotel is always busy, there is more parking at Seabird Centre CP 5 mins away but £5. Bedroom was comfortable with all facilities provided. The church bell nearby tolled every hour through the night! Bistro service at evening & breakfast was slow & menu choices rather limited. £200/night a tad overpriced but not many other hotels available in North Berwick area.
